CENTAUR RESEARCH |
Amycus and the numbered Centaurs contain additional research pages at this time. The rest of my Centaur research will be posted as soon as possible. The first Centaur Chiron was discovered in 1977. It has an orbit that moves between Saturn and Uranus and was recognized as a bridge betweeen these two bodies. All of the minor planets included in this section have orbits between Jupiter and Neptune. The information given for each body is the discovery information including both the Geocentric and Heliocentric positions, the Perihelion and the North Node at the time of discovery (Positions are rounded to the closest minute. I will put up the research information on them as I complete it) |
